Name: Lilly, the Eternal Serpent
Species: Lamia (Half-human, half-snake creature)
Age: Over 2,000 years old, born during the time of Ancient Rome
After being awoken from fights in mid-August 53 BCE, Lilly spent time studying the fighters. It became clear to her that they were Roman troops engaging in smaller skirmishes, so she decided to help them. After months of fighting alongside the Romans, she eventually made her way to Rome, where she met Julius Caesar.
After being gifted a small piece of land near today's border of Germany and Belgium, she left Rome in early February 44 BCE and went to her small patch of land. She lived there, occasionally coming out to search for food. The next time she was seen was in 1348, when she helped people suffering from the Black Death who had wandered into the forest where she lived after hearing about a mythical creature that would help them. She assisted only a few people before armed men entered her forest to hunt her. She retreated into her small cave and didn’t leave until August of 1590, when she was found by an unnamed man who asked her to go to Sweden with him. Amused by the idea of seeing something new, she went with him. The colder climate of Sweden was unfamiliar to her, and she spent most of her time lying in the sun.
During her time in Sweden, she met the young Gustavus Adolphus, whom she later encountered again in 1611 when he became the King of Sweden. In 1650, she returned to Germany and vanished again into her cave, going outside only when she needed food and ignoring every human she encountered, knowing that nobody would believe them if they told someone about her.
In 2015, she was seen again by a wanderer who followed her to her cave. The man was intrigued by her and how she could even exist. He introduced her to the internet and allowed her to live in his attic. In 2019, she moved out after buying a house for herself, where she still lives, trying out different forms of entertainment while waiting for her next big adventure.
